Tees Valley WorkWear

Guide To Personalisation

At Tees Valley Workwear, we utilise modern machinery and industry-leading techniques to bring your brand to life. Whether you are outfitting a local team or a nationwide workforce, we offer a comprehensive range of customisation options—from premium professional embroidery to high-definition garment printing—ensuring your logo looks flawless on any apparel.

Choosing the right application method depends on your logo’s complexity, your order volume, and the fabric of the garment. Below is the complete Tees Valley Workwear guide to personalisation options to help you choose the perfect fit for your business.

Professional Embroidery Services

Embroidery remains one of our most popular branded workwear solutions. It provides a premium, textured finish that is perfect for employers looking to give their workforce a strong, highly professional, and durable identity.

  • How it Works: Your logo is carefully digitized and sent to our computerised embroidery machines. A metal frame secures the garment with a backing fabric to ensure a precise, clean stitch using the highest-quality durable threads. (Please note: the framing process may occasionally leave a temporary, harmless mark on the fabric that easily rubs or washes off).
  • Best Suited For: Polo shirts, corporate business shirts, blouses, aprons, tabards, heavy jackets, and headwear.

High-Quality Garment Printing

Garment printing is a versatile and highly durable option capable of reproducing complex, unique, and vividly coloured designs. Tees Valley Workwear utilizes four primary printing techniques to guarantee a striking end product, tailored exactly to your chosen garments and design needs:

Direct to Film (DTF) Printing

DTF is one of the latest and most versatile printing innovations in the custom workwear industry.

  • How it Works: Your design is printed onto a specialist film using premium inks, coated in an adhesive powder, and heat-pressed onto the fabric for a permanent, flawless bond.
  • Best Suited For: Small to medium orders requiring highly detailed, vibrant, and intricate logos. DTF produces a soft, flexible print that actively resists cracking and peeling. It works exceptionally well on cotton, polyester, and poly-blends, across both light and dark garments.

Tees Valley Workwear Care Guidance & Important Notes

To ensure the longevity and high-quality finish of your customized apparel from Tees Valley Workwear, following the correct aftercare is essential.

  • Washing & Drying: Please do not tumble dry any printed items. The intense heat and mechanical friction from tumble drying can cause prints to prematurely fade, peel, or crack. Damage caused by tumble drying is not covered under our returns or replacement policy.
  • Thin Fabrics: For lightweight garments (under 175gsm), we strongly recommend choosing a print method rather than embroidery to ensure the fabric holds its shape and avoids pulling.

Selecting the right customisation method for your business apparel can feel surprisingly daunting. With various fabric weights, technical terms, and choices between printing and embroidery, it is easy to get confused about what will actually make your uniform look its absolute best.

Your brand identity is your company’s handshake to the world, so getting your logo and placement exactly right is crucial. Don’t worry—you don’t have to figure it out alone. At Tees Valley Workwear, we understand how important your branding is, and we are here to guide you through the process to ensure your orders turn out perfectly.
